Toyota, the highly reputable Japanese firm, helped The Best of Both jump to an entirely new level of professionalism. Famous for their indisputable project management strategies, Toyota helped the members of The Best of Both by providing us with a day of project management training. This was an invaluable experience for which The Best of Both are greatly thankful for.

The Urban Developement and Education Foundation (UDEF) was the charity that supported us in starting our link with the schools in Bolgatanga. They oversee the developement of these schools and in future, of more schools in the region. The charity UDEF works closely with Trax Ghana to help partner schools to establish long-term sustainable twinning projects.

The aim of Trax is to train farmers in low cost, sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation techiniques to help improve the farming techniques of the community, especially women. They respect the enviroment when providing practical advice to help communities farm nutritional products, which can also be sold. Trax is using our funding to bring our ideas to life. Working with Trax and local companies, we will ensure that each school and community has access to clean water. Using local labour, management and donated funds, we can help to dig wells, build small wells, collect rain water in large tanks and filter dirty water with Biosand water filtration systems. The construction of wells will completely change the schools and their communities and benefit them for many years to come.

The World Food Programme is a branch of the United Nations and is the world's largest humanitarian ogranisation dealing with hunger world wide. Their fill the cup campaign aims to provide cups full of food to combat world hunger. The Best of Both work with the World Food Programme in order to supply our schools with a supply of food.
